About bondpassed
bondpassed is a weekly list for Texas architecture firms that design schools and civic buildings: the public building projects registered with the state within 75 miles of your office, the design firm named on each, and the school and city bonds behind the next round. Every line links to the state record.

How we work
- Every line links to the state record. We read public records from TDLR (TABS project registrations), the Texas Bond Review Board, the TBAE firm roster, NCES and the Census Bureau (where the data comes from) .
- No "passed" before it's official. A bond reads "carried per the Texas Bond Review Board" or "per the county's official canvass". Until then it reads "no official result yet".
- "Design firm" means the firm named on the TABS record. That can be an engineer or a design-builder. We say "registered with TBAE to offer architecture" only when TBAE's own search ticks Architect.
- Numbers come from the records. Counts on this site come from our latest weekly run over those records, not typed by hand. Any other figure names its source.
- Wrong record? Tell us. Each line has a "Wrong record?" button that reaches a person, and we check the report against the source.
bondpassed is not affiliated with or endorsed by the State of Texas, TDLR, the Texas Bond Review Board or TBAE. We read their public records and link to each one.
