Terms of service
These terms cover your use of bondpassed: bondpassed.com, app.bondpassed.com and our emails. bondpassed is built and sold by Helios One Oy (business ID 3596623-5), "we" or "us". By using bondpassed you agree to these terms. If you use it for your firm, you agree for your firm.
What bondpassed is
A weekly list of the public building projects registered with the State of Texas within 75 miles of your office, the design firm named on each, and the school and city bonds behind the next round, built from public records. Texas only.
Free trial
14-day free trial, no card. You can use bondpassed fully during the trial. When it ends, exports (CSV and PDF) lock until you subscribe, and your data stays readable.
Subscription and price
- $399/mo per region. A region is everything within 75 miles (straight-line) of your office, and a subscription covers one region.
- Founding firms: $199/mo for 12 months, for the first 10 firms that subscribe.
- Billed monthly in advance in USD, through Stripe, by Helios One Oy (business ID 3596623-5).
- We'll email you before any change to your price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

Cancelling
Cancel anytime under Billing in the app, or email us. Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for. We don't charge for any month after you cancel. If you think we charged you by mistake, email us and we'll make it right.
Your account
- Use a real work email, and keep sign-in codes and links to yourself.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including the people you invite to it.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else got into your account.
The data
bondpassed is built from these public records:
- TDLR TABS (Texas Architectural Barriers System) project registrations
- Texas Bond Review Board: Local Debt Bond Election Results
- Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE): registered firm roster
- NCES school district locations
- U.S. Census Bureau reference files (for distances)
Every line in your list links to the record it came from (where the data comes from) .
- As is. Public records can be wrong, late or incomplete, and so can our reading of them. The linked state record is the authority. Check it before you act on a line.
- Read the words as written. A TABS "design firm" is the firm named on the record, which can be an engineer or a design-builder. A cost is the estimate entered on TABS. A bond on the ballot isn't approved until there is an official result, and we say "no official result yet" until there is.
- Not advice. bondpassed isn't legal, financial or procurement advice. For how a public owner selects an architect, see qualifications-based selection.
- Not official. bondpassed is not affiliated with or endorsed by the State of Texas, TDLR, the Texas Bond Review Board or TBAE.
- Wrong record? Tell us with the "Wrong record?" button on the line, and we'll check it against the source.
How you may use it
- Use bondpassed, its lists and your exports for your firm's own work, and share them inside your firm.
- Don't resell, republish or bulk-copy our lists or exports as a data product or feed.
- Don't scrape the service, overload it, or try to get around its limits or security.
The public records themselves stay free for anyone at their source. These limits cover our service and lists.
What you send us
Reports, feedback and messages you send help us fix records and improve bondpassed. You let us use them for that.
Availability and changes
We work to keep bondpassed running and your list arriving every Monday, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features. If a change takes away something you pay for, you can cancel.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using bondpassed anytime. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
If bondpassed closes
If we ever stop offering bondpassed, we'll tell customers by email at least 30 days before it closes, and refund the unused time you've already paid for.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows, bondpassed is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or business (such as a project you didn't win). Our total liability for any claim about bondpassed is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy, with a short summary on security and privacy.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters for customers, we email account holders before it takes effect. If you keep using bondpassed after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
